VGPM Update 1.64: Plan of Care Improvements, Better Scheduling, and More

This release focuses on making Plan of Care workflows easier, improving scheduling speed, and adding more flexibility to time tracking. We also added a handful of small fixes to improve overall consistency across the app.

Highlights

1. Plan of Care Updates

A series of improvements designed to make POC creation, exporting, and compliance smoother:

  • Choose which goals appear in the PDF: Every goal now includes a checkbox. Unchecking it hides that goal in the final Plan of Care PDF, giving you cleaner, payer-ready documents.

  • Intro + met dates now auto-display: The “intro” and “met” dates that show in the program book now automatically appear on the Plan of Care PDF for each goal.

  • Hide long goal descriptions: If you write long goal description, you can now choose to hide them all from the PDF for a more concise, readable output.

  • Guardian signature requirements: You can now require guardian signatures for Plans of Care on a per-payer basis. If enabled, submitting a Plan of Care automatically creates a review + signature task for guardians, just like session notes. This helps meet payer requirements without adding extra work.

2. “All Day” option for PTO, UTO, Admin, and Meetings

When adding time off or administrative time, you can now mark the event as All Day. All-day items count as 8 hours in timesheets, making scheduling much faster.

3. Faster client scheduling

When you’re on a client’s calendar and create a new therapy session, the client field auto-populates with that same client. Fewer clicks, less friction.

4. Small fixes & consistency improvements

We cleaned up several small bugs to make scheduling, billing, and calendar behavior more consistent across the app.

Conclusion

VGPM 1.64 adds more control to the Plan of Care process, simplifies scheduling, and removes several daily workflow frustrations. As always, thank you for your feedback, these updates come directly from your requests.
