VGPM Update 1.67: Informational Events, Enhanced Goal Flexibility, and Smarter Workflows
This release is all about flexibility and fine-tuning your daily workflows. We’ve introduced a new event type to declutter your payroll, expanded how you can track client goals, and added smarter tools for forms and claims. Whether you are managing schedules or reviewing documentation, v1.67 gives you more control over the details.
Highlights
1. New Feature: Info Events
Not every item on the calendar needs to be a timesheet. We’ve introduced Info Events, a new event type designed purely for information. These are perfect for tracking non-billable items like employee birthdays, company holidays, or office reminders.
No Timesheet Generated: These events do not create timesheet entries, keeping your payroll clean.
Category Support: You can still assign categories to Info Events, meaning they will count toward category totals if you need to track them for reporting.
2. Manual Entry for Complex Goals
We are expanding the flexibility of our data collection. Clinicians can now manually add data points to Task Analysis and Interval goal types. This feature, available for other goal types, allows for easier retroactive data entry and ensures that no progress is lost, even if it wasn't captured in real-time.
3. Form Review: Request Edits
Collaboration just got smoother. When a user is assigned to review a form (Basic type), they now have the ability to Request Edits rather than just approving or rejecting. This streamlines the feedback loop, allowing reviewers to ask for specific changes without restarting the entire submission process.
4. Streamlined Claim Reconciliation
To speed up your billing review process, we’ve added the ability to edit claim tags directly from the Reconcile Screen. You no longer need to navigate away or open individual claim details to update tags, making it faster to categorize and track claims during reconciliation.
5. AI Generate: Now with Tables
Our "AI Generate" feature is getting smarter. It can now fill in tables within Plans of Care and Session Notes. This allows for much richer, structured data generation without manual formatting, saving you even more time on documentation.
6. Supervising Provider Support
We now support Supervising Provider fields on claims on a per-payer basis. If you work with a payer that requires this specific designation on claims, let us know, and we can enable it for you.
7. Quality & Bug Fixes
As always, we’ve included various minor bug fixes and performance improvements to keep the platform running smoothly.
Conclusion
VGPM 1.67 brings highly requested quality-of-life updates that make managing your practice, from the calendar to the claims screen, just a little bit easier. We hope you enjoy the new flexibility!
